Galanthus nivalis ‘Pistachio’

A particularly handsome virescent G. nivalis, selected at Edulis for its unusually strong colouring. The outer segments are broadly flared and washed with a soft pistachio-green, while the inner segments carry bold, rich green markings that give the flower considerably more presence than its rather demure name suggests. A very good example of how far the colour range of nivalis can be pushed without losing the character of the species.
