A surprisingly hardy Pilea sp. from China . Forming a glossy understory in a shady position. Lanceolate leaves giving a tropical effect. Usually reaching 60 cm. Produces small white flowers later in the season. And then sends out stolons in the autumn. High altitude perennial, growing at 2000-3000 m in the Himalayas.
